Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was very nice and clean, with spacious rooms that felt homey. It was in a great location, a 5-minute walk to the subway and Notre Dame Basilica, surrounded by restaurants. The service was friendly, but they seemed a bit overwhelmed to provide top-notch service consistently. The location was fantastic for exploring Old Montreal and downtown attractions. The dining experience had its ups and downs with some chaos during busy times. Overall, a good value for a family stay.
The hotel rooms were better than the typical Embassy Suites, always clean, fresh-smelling, bright, and airy. They provided many towels, coffee, tea, bottled water, a coffee maker, a very comfy bed, complimentary drink passes, and a full-size fridge and freezer for our food shopping. However, there were some signs of lack of maintenance. The generously sized rooms featured a small kitchen and living area, along with a big bathroom housing a huge double jet tub.
The hotel exudes an old vibe yet is ideally located, close to Old Montreal, restaurants, and public transportation. The rooms are well appointed, quiet, and clean, featuring a large kitchen area equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, and fridge freezer.
The hotel is right in the heart of Old Montreal, within walking distance to many attractions and a subway station. The rooms were excellent, clean, and comfortable with modern amenities, but the noise from construction happening nearby was an unexpected nuisance. The service was super friendly and accommodating, even at early hours. The dining experience had its flaws with poor choices and chaos in the service. The location is great for exploring the city on foot but may feel crowded at times.
Staying at this hotel was a great experience. The rooms were clean and nicely laid out like an apartment, complete with a great kitchenette and a convenient pull-out sofa. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Old Montreal but there is currently construction happening in front of the hotel. The service was top-notch with attentive staff and a free breakfast bar. Dining options were very organized with good hot meal choices, and the facilities were excellent.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were big and comfortable, the bed was really nice, and booking online in advance was a breeze. However, it was a bit disappointing that the rooms came with a kitchen but lacked utensils or dishes, resulting in a trip to the dining room to fetch them.
Our 39th Wedding Anniversary stay at the hotel was very, very quiet despite the location, with a great kitchenette and a pull-out sofa. However, it seemed to be catering more to one person, and there were not enough towels provided. Also, having only one chair at the kitchen counter was a bit inconvenient.
I had a bit of a mixed experience during my stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean, featuring a big jacuzzi, but I encountered some problems with the wiring. The location was amazing, conveniently close to the Notre Dame Basilica and the old Montreal area, allowing easy access to various attractions. The service was a bit inconsistent; although the staff attended to our needs, they seemed overworked and stressed at times. The dining experience was only okay, with simple and tasteless options. However, the facilities were well-maintained and satisfactory.
My room was really large and divided into two sections: one with a nice kitchenette and sitting area with a sleeper sofa, and the other with a bedroom with two double beds and a fold-out couch. I found blood on the sheets, which was disappointing. The service was a mix; some staff were friendly, but others seemed overworked and tired. The location wasn't great as it was near the elevator and facing the parking garage entrance, which made it less efficient during peak times. The dining experience was not the best, with powdered scrambled eggs, greasy bacon, and poor sausages. The facilities, however, were decent overall.
The hotel is perfectly situated, close to Old Montreal and within walking distance to Chinatown and Ste Catherine's Street. The rooms are modern, well-decorated, and quite clean, although some maintenance would enhance the experience. The lack of natural light in the hallway was a downside for me.
I truly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious with great facilities, and overlooking the vibrant Palais du Congress area. The service was exceptional, with attentive staff going above and beyond to assist. The location was ideal, being close to many attractions in Montreal. The dining was superb, although there was a bit of a waiting time due to limited staff. Overall, a wonderful experience with excellent value for money.
